    Warranty valid from 1 October 2009 to 31 Dec 2011, subject to changes without prior notice:

    Product carries a 24 months warranty against hardware manufacturing defect

    Warranty period starts from the date of AC Ryan invoice

    Defect through misuse is not covered in the warranty

    If warranty seals are present in the product, warranty will be void when the warranty seal is broken

    Warranty is void when Serial Number label is removed from the product

    RMA

    Replacement product will be given under RMA. If the product under RMA is either EOL or unavailable within the standard period, then a credit will be raised

    2 years RTB direct with AEG.

  • AMD

    Standard warranty is 1 year RTB.

    Warranty for Retail CPU's is 3 year RTB for replacements. If a replacement is no longer available then a credit will be offered at current market pricing

    For problems found within the first 30 days of operation, APC will replace defective units with new units and pay all associated shipping charges.

    For defects found after 30 days, standard service offers quick turnaround time by sending a replacement unit or, if requested, repairing the customer's original UPS system.

    For companies with assigned asset tags and set depreciation schedules, getting the original back rather than a replacement may be important.

  • Cables To Go

    Effective from March 1st 2011 we will be changing our process to enable greater efficiencies and an improved customer experience with our RMA process. Our core aim is to improve turn-around times and pro-actively manage this process and issue credit notes much more quickly.

    The changes form a customer perspective are as follows:

    ·       All RMA requests must be applied for by e-mail using the address: rmarequest@cablestogo.co.uk

    ·       The issued RMA numbers will have a maximum of thirty day validity period from the date of issue.

    ·       The Cables To Go invoice number or your purchase order number must be supplied with the RMA request.

    ·       Bulk returns, i.e. stock rotation requests may be subject to a booking in slot, you will be advised at the time of issue of the authorisation number.

    ·       All returned products must be ‘fit for re-sale’ i.e. returned in the original packaging and must not contain any non CablesToGo labels or barcodes other that the original C2G EAN.

    GT1xx series servers and GN5xx series storage systems include 1-year on-site labour and parts service and additional 2 years spare parts replacement

    Other Gateway servers and storage systems include 3-years on-site labour and parts service

    Gateway server and storage options are protected by 1-year carry-in standard warranty from the date of purchase. If Gateway certified options are installed on Gateway server or storage, they are covered under the server and storage residual warranty, if previously registered.

    Gigabyte warranty is 3 years and 1 year RTB followed by 2 year return to Gigabyte.

    Please note Gigabyte have a UK RMA department and now offer a speed service, enabling the customers to return directly for up to 3 years from purchasing. Being by far the largest UK distributor for Gigabyte products, we demand the best possible service from Gigabyte to our customers.     THE SAMSUNG INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

    How to get the International warranty service

    Customers who need to receive service internationally should follow the steps below:

    The customer must contact Samsung’s contact centre where the customer is located.

    The contact centre will perform troubleshooting. If it is determined that the unit requires repair, the contact centre will arrange for service.

    The customer must return the Samsung product to a Samsung’s authorized repair centre including any external hardware and Media along with proof of the purchase.

    Please note some countries allow the customer to drop off the Samsung Mobile Computer at a Samsung authorised repair centre while other countries only allow the product to be shipped.

    Conditions

    The terms and conditions of this warranty service may vary from country to country.

    Customers requesting the International warranty service from a country not listed shall be responsible for delivery of the Samsung Mobile Computer to the nearest International warranty centre as advised by the Samsung helpline. The customer shall be responsible for any shipping, customs and import and export charges. Samsung will pay return shipment only. The method of shipment of the Samsung product will be at Samsung’s discretion. Samsung will not be responsible for any damage caused in the route to the international warranty centre. Any damage caused in transit must be claimed back to the shipping provider
